Bahamas Splash!
Our first cruise in January 2009 was so much fun that we decided to do
it again. We had a great three day cruise out of Port Canaveral, Fl..
to Nassau in the Bahamas. Despite record cold in Florida, a hot time
was had by all aboard the Carnival Sensation. Thanks to all our friends
who joined us. John Frinzi and I had three shows, including one in
Nassau at the wild Senior Frogs on the waterfront. The weather in
Nassau was fantastic. I wish we could have brought it back in our
suitcases. When we got off the Sensation in Port Canaveral, it was 30
degrees with a 30 mile an hour wind. There was ICE all over the parking
lot. At least it was sunny. Well, sort of! Now I just need to figure
out what we're doing NEXT year. Any suggestions? Suncoast Serenades
Sunny Jim has been hosting visiting singer/songwriters for a few years with Suncoast Serenades, acoustic shows set in the historic Venice Train Depot. It’s the perfect setting for intimate shows, and the audience gets a chance to hear the stories behind the music. Recent Suncoast Serenades have featured Brent Burns and John Reno from the Mobile Bay area and Kelly McGuire from Houston, Texas.
